MiMi + You Hand Made "One of a Kind" Necklaces

Sisters Mitra and Mina (MiMi) started MiMi + You in 2005. Mitra individually handcrafts each necklace in Toronto, Canada. The designs are inspired by their friends and community; the YOU part of the brand name. Each piece is as unique as the women who wear them: moms, teachers, entrepreneurs, business executives, activists, and actors.

Mitra Mortazavi, Toronto based Artist is the designer and creator of MiMi + You necklaces. Before making necklaces, Mitra showcased her paintings inspired by Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keefe in downtown Toronto Art galleries. Art, literature and media also influence her necklace designs.

Head of Sales and Marketing, Mina Mortazavi is the proud mother of two beautiful children. She has over 10 years of marketing and business management experience. She has launched many e-commerce businesses; her last venture was styling dog.com featuring designer dog accessories. Until recently she provided marketing consulting services to Duvenjian, the leading marketing and communication company focused on the jewelry industry.

Our commitment is to continue to create only "One of a Kind" necklaces. Like snowflakes, no two necklaces will be alike, not unlike the women who inspire the designs.

Our goal is to focus sales via the e-commerce site while continuing to partner with boutiques to bring the unique necklaces to consumers.
